October 2006: Sky Hunters, San Diego

| I visited Sky Hunters on one weekend in October with friends of the San Diego Hiking Club. The organization takes care of injured raptors and educates the public about Birds of Prey. They have a nice facility in the mountains east of San Diego, where several birds, which cannot be released into the wild, can be met. It was the first time that I saw Golden and Bald Eagles, and I was most impressed by their size and beauty. Below are a few shots of these amazing birds. | ||||||||
