January 2003: Christmas holiday in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

As almost every year, I spent Christmas 2003 back home in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. Unfortunately, the weather was not cooperating and I also suffered from a cold. I therefore took only few photos. Below is a small hut at "Reschberg", an alpine meadow in walking distance from home. Several people obviously had a good time:

The very last day before I flew back to San Diego, I was hiking with my mom at Oberammergau, known around the world for the passion play that is performed at the little town every ten years.

Small chapels like this one can be found everywhere in southern Bavaria. I included this picture to get at least some Christmas atmosphere into this Updater.
