Death Valley, Thanksgiving Weekend 2001 Close-up Campsite Here is a close-up of our campsite, photographed from the summit of the Striped Butte. If you look closely, you can see a red Jeep parking next to the dirt road on the right side of the lower rock pile. Even in close-up, it's hard to see the camp. Imagine the vastness of the valley!
